Our lives together started way back in high school. We grew up together! With almost fifty years of marriage and raising two quite successful daughters we decided to go down a new path together. Goldenrod Primitives has been a dream of mine for the longest time. When I mentioned it to Steve he said, “When do we start?” You gotta love that man! Always supportive. So....Welcome to our little piece of heaven.

We take in the pine trees losing needles, dropping pine cones to adorn our Thanksgiving table, and wreaths for the Christmas season. My grandmother, Madeline, shared her love of fabrics, wools, and needles to encourage me to learn the craft that was so much a part of her life. Little did Steve’s grandfather, Marco, know that his passion as a woodworker would lead to Steve’s pleasure of the same craft. I’m sure that back in the day, he never would have believed Steve would follow his love of exotic woods bringing so much to our shoppe. And so it begins…
